Different metal furniture has different manufacturing processes, and some portable beach beds are also mixed with wood materials, soft materials, plastics, glass and other materials. According to the design requirements, select the appropriate process to process various materials.

(1) Pipe cutting or sheet cutting: The metal substrate is generally larger or longer, so it needs to be cut first to make it smaller for further processing. Commonly used methods are gas cutting, grinding wheel cutting, laser cutting, etc., and milling and other methods can also be used for cutting.

(2) Bending: The bending sheet can be bent by a stamping process; but the pipe bending needs to be carried out on a special machine tool, and the pipe is bent into an arc with a die wheel. Bending can generally be divided into two processing methods: hot bending and cold bending. Hot bending is used for thick-walled or solid pipes, but rarely for metal furniture. Bending at room temperature by cold bending, pressing and forming, the pressing methods include mechanical pressing, hydraulic pressing and manual pressing. Elbow is often used to make the skeleton structure of furniture.

(3) Punching: punching can be done by punching, with high processing accuracy and high efficiency; drilling machines and hand electric drills can be used for big eyes. Milling can be used if slots are used in the design.

(4) Welding: Gas welding and arc welding are often used for metal furniture parts. After welding, the welding point needs to be polished to make the surface smooth so as not to affect the appearance.

(5) Surface treatment: There are many surface treatment processes for metal, which can be carried out by chemical coloring, electrolytic coloring, anodizing coloring, electroplating coloring, coating coloring, heat treatment coloring, etc., which not only improves the aesthetics of the foldable sofa bed, but also improves the appearance of the sofa bed. Protects the surface of metal materials from oxidation.

(6) Assembly: According to different connection methods, use screws, bolts, rivets, etc. to assemble metal parts into furniture.
