The best way to fight any sort of cardiovascular disease is with a healthy diet and a healthy lifestyle. It isn't as hard as it sounds, but it requires you to be intentional so that you can be as heart-healthy as possible. If followed and maintained, it will be effective in the long term. They are:

Maintain Blood Pressure

High blood pressure(hypertension) is a significant risk factor for cardiac diseases and stroke. When your blood pressure, or the force of blood flowing through your blood vessels, is consistently too high, you have high blood pressure. When your blood pressure stays within a healthy range, there is less strain on your cardiac systems, keeping you healthier by enhancing your cardiac health. Almost half of all adults worldwide have high blood pressure. Blood pressure on average should be 120/80 mm Hg.

Keep your cholesterol under control

High cholesterol promotes plaque formation, which can clog arteries and lead to cardiac disease and stroke.

Cholesterol is a fatty substance. It isn't inherently "bad." Your body requires it to build cells. However, too much cholesterol can be harmful. Cholesterol is derived from two sources. Your liver produces all of the cholesterol your body demands. The remaining cholesterol in your body comes from animal-derived foods. Meat, poultry, and full-fat dairy products, for example, all contain cholesterol, which is also known as dietary cholesterol.
