The Pit Viper sunglasses were designed by Chuck Mumford while he was on a ski trip in the Teton Mountains in 2012. Mumford's previous sunglasses broke very quickly during the trip, so he decided to develop a pair of sunglasses that would be more durable and able to stand up to the abuse of the elements. The Pit Vipers are 100% UV protected and are water, wind, dust, and impact resistant. They even float in salt water for a few seconds without being damaged.
