Matcha and Beyond is a UK based company that imports high grade matcha tea from the fields of Japan. The founder Olivia, is a nutritional therapist with a passion for healthy living. When she discovered matcha a few years back, she was hooked on the delicate taste and the many health benefits matcha has to offer. Matcha, tea loaded with antioxidants, became a daily ritual that improved her wellbeing, providing sustainable energy and a sense of calm. She realised the taste could be hit or miss, as matcha comes in many different grades and qualities. She travelled through Japan to discover the roots of matcha, its uses, its harvesting process and decided to import several high-quality matcha grades from selected tea farmers she met.
Olivia founded the Matcha and Beyond café in central London which she had to close permanently during the pandemic and decided to concentrate on the distribution of her matcha through retail and wholesale channels. She is committed to provide exceptional matcha that far exceeds the norm and spread her matcha love to mindful people who share her values.
