Vinyl records are currently produced using efficient, modern presses, but the process remains similar to the past. A matrix, created from the artist’s provided material, serves as a template for all pressed vinyl records. Record pressing is the manufacturing process for creating vinyl records, it involves mastering audio tracks, creating a stamper, pressing vinyl pellets into the stamper's shape, quality checks, trimming, labelling, and packaging for distribution.
