- To enable dark mode in Office 365, sign in at portal.office.com and open any Office app like Outlook or Word. Click on File > Options > General, then find the Personalize your copy of Microsoft Office section. Under Office Theme, select Dark Gray or Black for dark mode. In Outlook, go to File > Options > Mail > Read Mode and enable Dark Mode. For the web version, click the gear icon in the top right, select Dark Mode, and toggle it on. This enhances visibility, reduces eye strain, and improves the user experience.
