Fildena CT 100 mg is a chewable tablet used for the treatment of erectile dysfunction (ED) in men. It contains sildenafil citrate, the same active ingredient found in traditional ED medications like Viagra. Sildenafil is a PDE5 inhibitor, which works by blocking the enzyme phosphodiesterase type 5. This leads to increased levels of cyclic GMP (cGMP) in the penile tissue, resulting in relaxation of blood vessels and improved blood flow to the penis. When a man is sexually stimulated, this enhanced blood flow helps achieve and maintain a firm erection.
