It's a very normal occurrence that maybe your printer doesn't send you a black print. Functional problems with the printer might be attributed to IT. But at some stage, in order to remedy these situations or to repair the problems, we need an absolute solution. 1. Click “Start,” “Shut down” and “Restart” to restart your computer.
2. Navigate your computer’s Internet browser to the “HP Customer Care” link and enter your HP printer’s model and number in the box below “Locate your product to get support.” Click the “Next” button.
3. Click the “Software & Driver Downloads” link. Click the down arrow under “Select your operating system, then click 'Next':” and click on your computer’s operating system. Click “Next.”
4. Click the “Driver - Product Installation Software” link. Click the “HP “XXXXX” Basic Drivers” link with “XXXXX” representing your HP printer’s name and then click the “Download” button to start the downloading process.
5. Click “Save As,” “Save” or similar wording button to save the driver file to your computer when the “Opening XXXXXX” dialog box appears – with “XXXXXX” representing the name of the driver. Navigate to the directory containing the driver file and double click the file’s name.
6. Follow the on-screen prompts to install the new driver. Plugin your HP printer’s USB cable when prompted. Your HP printer is ready for use once you are prompted with a message stating the printer driver was installed correctly. If an error message is displayed, follow the on-screen suggestions to correct the problem.
