I’m in the process of selecting a cooling system for a 1500 W laser welding machine and would appreciate some advice or shared experiences. With cooling being such a critical factor for ensuring performance and longevity, I want to make the right choice between air cooling and water cooling.
From what I’ve researched:
Air Cooling seems to be more compact, energy-efficient, and ideal for lighter workloads or portable machines. However, it might struggle in high-temperature environments or with continuous operation.
Water Cooling, on the other hand, offers superior heat dissipation and is better suited for intensive or prolonged tasks. But it requires more maintenance and upfront investment.
If you’ve worked with 1500 W laser welding machines, which cooling mode did you go for? What factors helped you decide—environmental conditions, workload, or operational costs?
