Russian farmers are more inclined to invest in the renovation and maintenance of previously purchased agricultural machinery than to order brand new or used ones. This is shown by the result of the analysis conducted jointly by the AA-P.Ru website (
www.aa-p.ru) and Avito. There is a clear trend towards an increase in the service life of agricultural machinery: owners have begun to treat it with more care, respectively, the need for new parts and advance maintenance is increasing. Based on Avito.Ru data, in 2025, the demand for spare parts increased by an order of magnitude compared to the previous year, in turn, the supply increased by 90%. The top ten cities with a record growth in demand for agricultural parts included settlements from regions with a dynamic agricultural sector.
According to the information received from the Pole platform, there is an increase in the interest of farmers in spare parts for agricultural machinery this year by an order of magnitude. Customers now prefer a cost-effective and, more importantly, fast way to buy parts through the Internet. Here it becomes clear who is the manufacturer of the parts, and comprehensive support is also provided, from the selection of components to the dispatch of the purchase. In addition, leasing of agricultural machinery is relevant, the demand for which is growing five to six times every year, especially taking into account state support.
According to analytics obtained from the Avito.ru portal, at the start of 2025, more than 140000 applications for the sale of spare parts for agricultural machinery in Russia were submitted on this site. Of this volume, about 117,000 offers concerned the sale of new spare parts. Since the beginning of 2024, the most popular goods on a Russian scale have been attachments, platforms, bodies, booths, as well as parts of hydraulic systems. The manager of the specialized direction for the sale of spare parts on the Avito platform says that against the backdrop of the import substitution policy, the agricultural sector is showing unrestrained growth and is in constant need of machinery, specialists, equipment and components.
Earlier, press releases noted a decrease in the production of combines in Russia this year. According to the Ministry of Agriculture, during 2024, domestic agricultural producers reduced the volume of orders for key types of agricultural machinery. It is assumed that this trend will remain relevant this year.
