Quenching is to heat and heat the joint building and quickly cool it in a quenching medium such as water or other inorganic salt solutions. After this process, the steel parts produced will become hard and also make the steel parts brittle. To reduce the brittleness of steel parts, the quenched steel parts can be placed at a temperature below 650 degrees Celsius and higher than normal temperature for long-term heat preservation, and then cooled, which is called tempering.
