In short, the Spring Knight Knight is a fairly Shroom Edibles safe species to collect and fun to find because they're really veritably delicious. It's like an Easter egg quest foradults. However, no problem; during the season they can also be set up at the technical booths in the better requests, If you do not dare to do it yourself.
publish from the Grote Oosthoek encyclopedia
I'm frequently asked by scholars which bespeak they should buy when they want to start looking for comestible mushrooms. Last time two new books about comestible mushrooms were published in Dutch. It was about time too, because there was not that important literature on this subject in Dutch yet. The stylish books published so far are( in no particular order)
Mark Janssen's books are expansive and contain thorough information about further than 100 species of comestible mushrooms, interspersed with intriguing and entertaining hiatuses and stories. The book contains multitudinous fashions for each mushroom. There's also a lot of attention for toxic mushrooms. Due to their size, they're unfortunately not suitable as field attendants, but they're veritably precious to use at home.
Edwin Florès's Mushroom Book
Edwin Florès' book contains information about 15 wild mushrooms. The target followership of this book is easily the( new) mushroom huntsman, given the limited number of species. It contains good information about mushroom collecting in general and also about the rules of the game in the Netherlands. In terms of format, the book lends itself well to taking it into the field, but it's a pity that the species information is kindly.
meager then and there, so that you're forced to take a field companion with you in addition to this book for a correct determination of your discoveries. This is also recommended by the author himself. Also contains nice fashions and expansive information about growing mushrooms yourself. Point of review the wrong print is shown in the description of the Parasol mushroom( macrolepiota procera), rha canons). It's also comestible, but only after heating. Hopefully this will be corrected in a future edition.
Mushrooms from the kitchen of Carluccio( the silent quest)
Now a classic among the books about comestible mushrooms. important has formerly been written about it. It was issued in 2013. A book that's divided into several chapters general information about mushrooms and their collection, field companion describing the species and toxic ringer and eventually about 100 fashions.
Good information, quite a lot of kinds and beautiful fashions of traditional Italian mushroom dishes. Of course, the author has his preference for specific species and that also determines the choice for the described species. Great book!
Petersen firstly wrote" Comestible mushrooms" in Danish, but it has been restated into Dutch and published by the KNNV( Association for Field Biology).
It's a beautifully designed book with solid information about looking for and picking mushrooms. This book serves the freshman, but also the more advanced mushroom huntsman will profit from this for a longer period of time. The mushrooms are well and considerably described and the toxic look- alikes are also considerably bandied. The book also contains good and expansive information about the colorful spots and biotopes.
Unlike the below books, you won't find any fashions in this book. Only one thing has struck me so far that surprised me. The author claims that coarse plate russulas( russula nigricans) aren't comestible while they're and relatively delicious too.
On the other hand, what made me veritably positive is the veritably clear explanation of the distinction between witch boletes and the Cacodemonic bolete. Eventually a book in Dutch in which this is well explained in textbook and with prints.
Information that can be set up in numerous foreign books, but which I hadn't come across in Dutch books until now. I largely recommend this book, especially if you compare the price to the quantum of useful information it offers.
