Menopause is a natural biological process, marking the end stage of the menstrual cycle in women who have crossed their childbearing age. It is diagnosed when a woman is not getting her menses for a year. The signs and symptoms that a woman might experience before menopause (perimenopause) means in months or years leading up to menopause includes hot flashes, vaginal dryness, irregular or skipping periods, chills, sleep issues, night sweats, mood changes, thinning hair and dry skin, loss of breast fullness, and weight gain or slow body’s metabolism.
