Not All Direct Solderability Of Enameled Aluminum Wire Is Applicable

The main features of enameled aluminum wire are as follows:
- DC resistivity: the DC resistivity of enameled aluminum wire is about 1.5 times that of pure copper wire; when the resistance value is the same, the weight of enameled aluminum wire is about 1/3 of the weight of pure copper wire
- Solderability: enameled aluminum wire connector solder requires special flux or aluminum solder wire.
- Light weight: the density of enameled aluminum wire is 1/3.3 of that of pure copper wire of the same diameter, which is very effective in reducing the weight of the coil; using aluminum clad wire instead of copper wire can save a lot of cost. Note: Not all direct solderability ofRectangular Enameled Aluminum Wireis applicable.
