We were fooled. We thought that maybe just to mix things up the Yankees would have a good West Coast trip. They even started strong, extending their winning streak in 60 years to 13 games with back-to-back victories in Oakland. Then ... they looked completely lost for four days in a row against the A’s and Angels. Oof.We tried to strike the balance between optimism realism about the Yankees’ recent skid , while looking in on some of what went wrong. Corey Kluber’s still working out the kinks, Jameson Taillon might be fatigued, and Gio Urshela is getting accustomed to playing again, too. Let’s just hope that his latest snafu doesn’t look worse
