BISMARCK, N.D. (KFYR) Students from across North Dakota gathered at the State Capitol Wednesday to show off their science and tech projects.
From robots to programming, visitors and legislators all had a chance to browse the impressive array. Freshmen from Munich Public School showed off the artificial intelligence machines they trained to tell diseased crops apart from healthy ones. By holding a picture up to a laptops camera, the program can analyze the image in real time and provide a health assessment.

The growing community around competitive gaming makes itself evident every year at the Wisconsin Esports Summit. The 2024 event pulled in more than 400 attendees from 165 organizations numbers the fourth installment hopes to top when it convenes next Monday, March 3.

The summit held at UW-Milwaukee Panther Arena will once again feature a mix of entertainment, education and networking in a schedule that managed to pack in even more than past years. The breakout sessions and mainstage discussions will cover esports at all levels from K12 through the pros with topics ranging from content creation to industry trends.
